Working in collaboration with a Theatre Studies MA student at Wolverhampton University, this collection of images took as its subject matter a piece of Theatre Of Cruelty work that had been devised by the student. The piece is a very graphic work containing a number of disturbing elements. The audience seating was deliberately arranged to be in very close proximity to the performance area. My images therefore aimed to capture the atmosphere of the performance’s uncomfortable and disturbing character.

The Electric Swing Circus Live
These images are of the amazing Electric Swing Circus, resident act at Hot Club De Swing, Birmingham's first regular Electro Swing night hosted by The Hare and Hounds Kings Heath. If you are wanting a fab night out in Birmingham, this is the place to go! Get your tickets early though as its always packed... Much fun!!
